Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and any vehicle transport you arrange through Road Runner Vehicle Transports (“we,” “us,” or the “Company”). By requesting a quote or booking a shipment, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

2. We are a broker, not a motor carrier

Road Runner Vehicle Transports is a federally licensed and bonded auto transport broker (MC #1151143-B, USDOT #3494344), operating under authority issued by the FMCSA and maintaining the federally required $75,000 surety bond. We do not own or operate the trucks that move your vehicle. We arrange transport by matching you with an independent, FMCSA-authorized motor carrier. The carrier — not the Company — physically transports your vehicle and is responsible for its care while in their custody.

3. Estimates and final quotes

Any price shown instantly on this website is a rough estimate only. It is generated from distance, vehicle type, and transport type, and it is not a binding offer. Your final, locked price is confirmed by a coordinator based on live carrier availability. Pricing depends on distance, vehicle size, transport type (open or enclosed), the vehicle’s operable condition, seasonality, and current carrier availability. All service fees are disclosed to you before you pay.

4. Payment

Prices are quote-based. Payment is processed using the method you provide at booking. A 3.95% processing fee applies to credit card payments. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and for any fees your bank or card issuer charges.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel before a carrier is assigned at no cost, and you will receive a full refund of any deposit. If a carrier has already been assigned on the scheduled pickup day, a $200 administrative fee applies. We stand behind every shipment with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

6. Pickup, delivery, and timing

We provide door-to-door service, meaning the carrier will get as close to your pickup and delivery addresses as is legally and safely possible. Some residential streets cannot accommodate a full-size transport truck; in that case, you and the driver will agree on a nearby accessible location. Pickup windows, transit times, and delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Traffic, weather, road conditions, and mechanical issues can affect schedules, and neither the Company nor the carrier is liable for losses caused by delays.

7. Your vehicle and restrictions

You must be the owner of the vehicle or have the owner’s authority to ship it, and the information you give us must be accurate. Undisclosed modifications or an inaccurate operable status can change the price or prevent loading. Restrictions apply to hazardous materials, personal belongings left in the vehicle, and inoperable vehicles (which require a winch and must be arranged in advance). Contact us for a full list of restrictions before booking. We are not responsible for personal items left in a vehicle.

8. Insurance and damage claims

Every carrier in our network is required to maintain active cargo insurance, which we verify before assignment. Inspect your vehicle at both pickup and delivery. In the rare event of damage, you must note it on the Bill of Lading at delivery and file a claim directly with the carrier’s insurance provider. The Bill of Lading is the controlling document for any damage claim. As a broker, the Company is not the insurer and does not assume the carrier’s liability, but we will assist you in the claims process.

9. Carrier vetting

Before any carrier is approved for a shipment, we verify their MC/DOT number with the FMCSA SAFER system, confirm active operating authority, check cargo insurance certificates, and review their safety rating and compliance history.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company’s liability arising out of or relating to your shipment is limited to the amount of the brokerage fee you paid us. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, lost profits, or costs of substitute transportation. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Communications and call recording

By requesting a quote, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text message, and email regarding your quote and shipment. Message and data rates may apply. Calls to or from the numbers listed on this site may be recorded or monitored for quality and training. See our Privacy Policy for details and for how to opt out.

12. Website content

We work to keep this site accurate, but content is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Prices, availability, and transit times may change without notice.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
